New MA in Scriptwriting

Edge Hill University is delighted to invite applications for the new MA Scriptwriting course.

Run over three module blocks, the MA Script allows you to develop your scriptwriting skills in your preferred medium (Stage, TV, Film, Radio), experimenting with styles and genre, whilst also developing your critical and analytical skills. You will have the opportunity to create a full length script, attend up to two residential workshops (where your work will be explored with a cast of actors, director and dramaturg), and take part in a final showcase.

The course will begin (subject to validation) in January 2013.

The programme is ideal for graduates, teachers, professional and semi-professional writers and individuals with suitable levels of writing experience and academic skill, and gives writers the opportunity to work with Creative Writing, Performing Arts and Media departments at Edge Hill University.
