Tutor Profile: Bill Hopkinson

Bill Hopkinson is a Manchester Evening News and Writers’ Guild
award-winning theatre director and dramaturg. He is currently
celebrating 25 years working with NW Playwrights. From 2000 to 2004 he
was Literary Manager for Sgript Cymru, the national new writing company
for Wales, and was Artistic Director of Manchester Youth Theatre for four
years. He has directed new plays at Greenwich Playhouse, Arcola,
Manchester Greenroom and a European tour of his own play Ludd. He
currently teaches acting and directing at Edge Hill University.
